Falmouth Kitchen Has Big Water Damage Problem
The refrigerator in a Falmouth Kitchen developed a line leak that left significant water damage throughout the room. SERVPRO techs scoped the room upon arrival and found water wicked into much of the sheetrock. They removed the damaged sheetrock to open up the wall cavities for drying and removed the appliances and cabinets away from the walls. The water seeped under the floorboards and they already showed signs of warping and buckling, so they required removal to dry the subfloor. The water migrated into a nearby bedroom and damaged the flooring and sheetrock in that room as well. After drying, the techs prepped the rooms for repairs to bring the home to its preloss condition.
